Lunch has been good today. I've read the whole time. Even the interruption of answering a customer's call didn't upset me. I have an agenda in reading Smile, You're Traveling and I am meting it with flying colors. I have quite a few tasks ahead of me before I can relax completely, until Christy gets in. I've got to clean the apartment, do my dishes, and soak my foot. Perhaps I'll even get in a fifteen or thirty minute workout. "Radio, Radio" is on the radio. Hopefully, we'll get through the whole thing today. Great track.

Today has been mostly miserable. I have no answers for anyone that asks. I have been put into the plumbing department today and am pretty much useless. Yesterday, I kicked customer service ass all over the place, but today I've been useful as a dick on a dike. Hey - I just invented a euphemism.
I tried to help this woman earlier, but she wouldn't have it. People as confrontational and uncompromising as her wig me out. By the time I was allowed to peter off, I was physically shaken. I'm not intimidated by that quality of person, I am simply frightened. There is no humor or compassion within their report. Their social skills amount to 'Now' and that's about it. They've no leeway - spooky. But Fred brought in roasted veggie Ritz crackers and has kindly requested that I eat them, "please", through written communication. I shall dutifly abide. Okay, back on the bike. The only rub is - there's no seat.
