considered running for Senate in 2003, but decided against it because of negative association with his infamous talk show
serving as political campaign adviser to Robert F. Kennedy
A slight digression: Knowing that Springer gave pointers to Bobby Kennedy is good enough these days for his to secure a seat in the Senate. We need Jerry Springer looking out for us, man. Just sayin'...
