October 15, 2008

Spent the day and evening with Cody. We really needed the time together; it's probably been a sold month, or maybe more, since I've seen him. I met him and Tim at Stacy Brohard's Up and Runnin' repair business. They fix small engines there: lawnmowers, weed whackers, snow blowers, etc. They also started selling big lawnmowers and Cody says their profits could increase greatly. He also says he wouldn't mind getting in deep and investing his future into this business. I'm seeing him fulfill his destiny as a clone of his father, but I can't change his ambition. Maybe he's thought this through. Hopefully he'll be happy. That's all that matters.

We had dinner at the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Forsyth. Our waitress wasn't too attentive, so she got a very unattentive tip. We sat at the bar, so I had full scope of all their beers. A good selection I must say, especially of microbrews. The new Budweiser's really good (in my opinion) and the Mad Hatter IPA was good as well - both were balanced quite well. My stomach is starting to turn on me in leu of the burrito and buffalitos I've had for lunch and dinner (respectively) though. I may need to poop soon.

I've got my something c whatever...I've got myself a doctor. Saw him this morning and scheduled another appointment for Friday to get my toe taken care of once and for all. I'll have to talk to Cheri tomorrow about leaving early, but I don't see why half an hour will be a problem. There are so fuck many people most of the time anyway, and what do I know about hard-fuck-ware. Fuck all.

Speaking of British colloquialisms, Killing Joke was awesome last night. The singer guy seems to have lost some weight. His stage presence is something else: an amalgamation of the Joker and Frankenstein's monster put through an Orwellian lens. Very interesting. Man, does this guy have some pipes. The opening band sucked. Some Mexicans tried to start shit during the show. My BBQ chicken pizza was really good. BJ and I may try and start a band/performance group. Ninja vs pirate; caveman vs cowboy; etc. We would book the gig and supply the music. Awesome. I must sleep now. Damn, I'm tired.
