Today has been a good day so far. The pages of this book are awfully warm from being in the car. I like that. There is a loving ambiance in the radiance of the thing. Like a hug or something. Neat
Living like a Spaniard is what I have to do, it seems. Read a bit, have my lunch, then a ten minute siesta - reinvigorated to face the rest of the day! Coffee doesn't hurt either. I am getting enough sleep, I simply use so much energy I am in need of a recharge once a day. Coffee doesn't hurt either. Especially Ethiopian. I lucked out today: $2.00 off Tuesdays at the Coffee Hound yielded my favorite blend. A perk of my job is enjoying faceless maniacal laughter.
Yesterday, Tim and I were charged with a band project: we must construct a drum rise so the drums do not shake the entirety of the house during our afternoon rock and roll sessions. Tim's neighbor Rocky affably presented us with this suggestion after seriously spooking us (or Tim, rather). To prevent a reprisal of this confrontation, we came up with the drum rise idea after talking with a gentleman at Kidder Music here in Bloomington. I need two pallets, some ply wood, a sheet of rubber matting, and some carpeting. RObert Smith should have died before the Cure's second album. We would always have "Friday I'm in Love", but would have spared "Love Song" and "Boys Don't Cry". Goddammit.
