HDT - Home Depot Time Venting. Finishing the lunch break with some hot cocoa. I forgot the last coffee filter was this morning. Hopefully, this inconvenience will help me regulate my coffee intake. With my new Kenmore, home brewing will be better and more reliable than ever. Work can suffer a loss. I'll start bringing iced tea. Yeah, that's the ticket. Storm chasers should get eaten by the tornadoes they're "observing". There is a word for those sort of fatalities, and it isn't "tragic" or even "stupid": "evolution".

- Later -

Break time, kids. A lightly exciting development on the musical front. I waited on a gentleman today who was curious about a water heater installation. It turns out that the service is offered by the Home Depot, and it costs $329.00. Holy fucking Christ. Anyway, the gentleman mentioned being a songwriter and performing music wit an array of different vocalists and recording at Eclipse Studious here in Normal. This is around the time I noticed his GLT shirt. Seizing upon the moment, I mentioned I too was a musician/songwriter. Our discussion lead from heaters to styles and influences thusly. Gregory Putnam is his name, and he writes country songs. I went to the web address he gave me: reverbnation.com/gregoryputnam. I wasn't impressed by any titles ("Whisp'rin'") but the guy's awfully prolific. Tons of songs on there, all with different singers and band members. I'll give him credit for doing the thing, sure. He said to contact him and maybe there could be some studio time in it for for me. Hells yeah. Right now I'm too bored and my toe is being too much of a pain in the ass to make whimsy about recording. Ouch. And sigh.
